Deli Cat Ubud

Deli Cat, a restaurant run by an Icelandic couple

Deli Cat is run by an Icelandic couple by the name of Anne and Gunnar. It's located by the foot ball field on Monkey Forrest Road and is a very simple place. Although you can find hamburgers and meatballs on the menu, the most special thing about this place is that you can find very good cheeses here. And as Balinese people don't eat much cheese themselves, it is usually very hard to find good cheese.

Unfortunately, we forgot the camera at the hotel the night we were there so we don't have any photos.

The food was not spectacular, but it did the trick. The next day, we went back and bought some cheese which we ate at our hotel room with a nice bottle of Barbera d'Asti that we brought with us from Sweden. And why did we choose to stay in the hotel room? Well, take it outside and in a couple of minutes it's 25 degrees warm and barely drinkable and you don't do that to a Barbera!

Tyvär har jag inga bilder på detta stället, men hittade lite bilder som jag av inte av rättighetsskäl vill visa på bali-travel-guide.com
