Celuk Agung - in the outer parts of Lovina
Lovina
is really a (very) long stretch of beach with several villages which
makes up Lovina Beach all the way to Singaraja. And it is not within
walking distance of basically anything.
Although it is low season and we were almost the only guests, it was a
hard bargain and after looking at three different types of rooms we
settled on a bungalow for the price of 275 000 Rp - which is around €
22, where as rack rate is just above € 30.
You should not really complain as we paid € 22, but we have had better rooms than this and for roughly the same price.
The room was ok, but the bathroom felt a bit run down and dirty. A floor mop and some Cif can't be that difficult to find...
There is not much activities, or restaurants, shops or anything else
for that matter, in the area so you can feel a bit confined to the
hotel if you don't have transport. It is also clearly frustrating not
to be able to walk down to the ocean when you see it from the hotel.
